New Journey in DRAPER, UT!

OKAY! SSSSOOOO..... haven't posted in over a month! Now i REALLY feel like this is my journal ("I'm going to write on my blog every week!.....") haha So, to sorta catch up on things:

1. We finished our moved to Draper in the third week of April. 

My awesome mom came and helped us move! She seriously took the stress away and I mean come on... my mom is like the best decorator and arranger of furniture the universe has ever seen! We got the whole move done in about 3 hours! SCORE! (thanks to everyone that came and helped :) YOU GUYS ROCK!!!) 

2. Cafe Zupas. 

Zupas (my place of employment) has been an adventure all in its own! I started in February and did my line training in the South Jordan location. From there I transferred to the West Valley location and did my Catering training (congrats to my trainer Aliska who got married last week :) ). and then from there I transferred to the Jordan Landing location and got my own store!!!!!! and i LOVED it! but then the universe decided to make me miserable and transfer me to the Downtown SLC location. Now let me explain this..... So, I ended up doing pretty well at Jordan Landing (broke a catering store record) and so they decided to transfer me Downtown so I could do the same... I do have to say that I am very grateful for this opportunity and have loved working in a very fast paced location. I just really really miss everyone I worked with at Jordan Landing. and as you can see from transferring almost every 3 weeks due to training, it has been really tough to get comfortable and in a set routine in life because of it. and, I know that every job has its negative aspects and I have been trying really hard the past 3 weeks to be very positive but sometimes... a person can only take so much stress lol. For now, I am staying at Cafe Zupas, because i REALLY LOVE my JOB! Job meaning... the catering part! And if anything.... Zupas has made me realize what I want to major in and a career i want to pursue!

4. "New school, new babe pool" 

"WHOA WHOA! I GOTTA GO.. BACK TO SCHOOOOOOOOOOOL." So, Daniel and I decided to take a couple semesters off school to sort out our lives and discover exactly what we want to do with our careers! Daniel has decided to keep doing accounting. He still works at Genesis Pure as their staff accountant and still loves accounting :) He is in the process of transferring from UVU to SLCC (the community college here in Salt Lake). Now that we have moved from Utah Country, this school just fits better with his work schedule and it's closer! AAANNNDDDD its a great way for him to get his GPA up before he transfers to the U of U in a couple of semesters! 

As for me... I have decided on a major once and for all!! I will be starting at LDSBC in the fall and will be studying Business and Marketing!! SO excited and I'm looking foreword to studying the gospel while at school! I actually (for once) can't wait to start school up! :) and either can Daniel!

4. New ride :) 

So, Daniel and I sold my other car and bought a new beauty. We bought the new Hyundai Elantra! I love it so so much! And now that I've been driving to Downtown Salt Lake, it's helped to have a car with great gas mileage!
